Aw poor Beau - I do hope things are a bit easier for him - and for you at the moment. Hope the honey and the meds work for him.

It looks so sore. Healing thoughts going to him and with you loving care he will be all better soon.

Take care and Loki sends doggy hugs and plenty healing kisses to Beau.

xxxx

And if it's similar to MRSA the silver will fight it just the same.

It's very expensive, I paid £12 for a small (very small!) bottle at a health food store, but I keep it in the cupboard now as an emergency, it really is brilliant! What it does is, it stops any air entering the wound as well as it's own healing properties, and when you drink it, all the nasties are dragged through the system because it's an actual metal, being silver. Hard to explain, but google it, it's marvellous stuff it really is!

Good luck with Beau, I hope he gets some relief soon.
I'm talking Actisorb Silver/Contreet Hydrocolloid/Aquacel AG and the like which isn't liquid, but a silver dressing packed into or placed over wounds. I wouldn't recommend liquid silver professionally as I've never used it.

Sorry, not been online much now im done at work for the year! lol

Beau is looking better. I took him to the vet for a check up and they are pleased. The vet named the infection, it was something like Sudonitis but i cant remember Definately started with an S though!!

He is still sore and swollen on his chin, but his muzzle is so much better. Flaky and he's lost most of the hair, but no longer bleeding and "pus-ey". He is definately going the right way, fingers crossed we can get the infection OUT of his system and it doesnt come back. Thats the concern at the moment. But he's a much happier boy!

I'm so glad to hear that Beau is improving, lets hope it continues.
Was it Pseudomonas? That is a very nasty bacteria that is often difficult to treat.
Give him another hug from me and Mo.

Could well have been! Would that be a similar type of thing to MRSA?
