I disagree. I've heard him umpteen times, including last Sunday, and I think he can - and he sings live, too, compared to some who mime all the time.

He sang acapella right beside me once - note perfect.

What, his Scottish accent? I wish he'd use that more often instead of that bloody American one! Though there is a reason behind that, but I still wish he'd stick to his Scottish one!
