It will be great to get the stitches out..but once they are, I bet you have at least one scare of him bashing his head!
I've already had one today when he rubbed his head along the edge of my raised bed in the garden! But i am sure there will be plenty more! It's obviously getting more and more itchy as the hair starts to growing back and the poor boy is feeling it more!

Good to hear he is healing up nicely. You'll have to take some more pictures for us in a few weeks time!

I'm doing a photo every friday hopefully taken in the same pose to see how much change there is. When he's all fully recovered i'm hoping to write a diary/blog type thing of our story as i found it hard to find info on dermoid cysts when he was first diagnosed.

Didn't think about it like that. He looks like he's got a bit of shaving rash at the moment! I've been gently massaging it for him - i'll have to get the OH to take a photo of the look on Monty's face when i do this as he looks like he's in heaven!!

Hey everyone,

Just thought i'd do a little update to tell you that Monty's lab results came back today and they have confirmed that they were Dermoid Cysts and were not cancerous.

This also indicates that there is very little chance that they would return which is obviously fab news.

The only downside is he now has another issue with one of his nipples, seperate thread in Dog Health for anyone who's interested.

It's always something with Monty!!
