Two I have taught my dog are 'bang' and 'verse round'

Bang - put hands in a gun shape, point at dog and say 'bang', dog falls to ground and lies on side

Verse round - dog reverses backwards around your body

Both are quite tricky, but quite fun to do/watch

Do you plan to do agility? If so these are some of the tricks I taught Moxie that really helped.

Spin Right and Spin Left, Heel and Side (Go to my left side and go to my right side) Around (go all the way around my body) Through (weave through my legs) Back up, bow (I have Moxie bow at the end of her contacts and on the teeter) Look back (at a run tell the dog to look back and go another direction) Directionals (being able to send your dog right, left or straight) Anything you can get your dog to do at a distance. For example my dog will down instantly no matter where she is or what she is doing, because we have made Down a fun game we play together.) Freeze is another good one. Toy recognition, Put toys away.

Aussie Shepherds are such fun to work with I'm sure your trick repetoir will be quite amazing.

I'm trying to teach mine to shut the back door as he opens it and lets himself in but never shuts it behind him!
