Why did you choose the breed you have?

I Have always had labradors to me they are what makes a dog, loving, loyal, kind, gentle, a faithful friends always by your side.
I Dont think in my eyes any breed could be better.
Wherever you go they follow, loving devoted and true, sitting in a field with the warm sunshine and surrounded my my labs is heaven.

Scrumpy the cairn found his way into my home, hes great, it wasnt planned getting him, but i wouldnt change him.

16 years ago my OH fell in love with the cavalier....... I had always had big dogs and was quite horrified when we went to see the litter as never seen one before ........they were so small .LOL ....
now I could never see myself owning any other breed !!!!!!!!! it's the eyes and expression that does it for me ....

Hi I first got Staff at 14/15 and had pestered for a dog for years finally it was decided that I could have a dog and my Dad in particular made me write down what I wanted from a dog. Taking into account where we lived and the ages in the family. My youngest sister then just 10.
List, short hair- not needing grooming (we'd had a rough collie before)
Not tiny size and not above size of Lab
Likes excercise and yet not a Worker like springer/collie etc
A dog we all like the look of
A kind dog but a breed whitch will look afer the children (us) from my Mom.

We visited breeder of our shortlist and I think due to Dad's intervention and the fact my Mom's Dad had known many Staff breeders living and working all his life in the Blck Country we ended up with Staffs. Grandad used to fix Joe Mallen's bike.
We visited on the advice of many people in the breed the owners of Rapparee affix Mr Mrs Bolton and saw Rapparee Rothersyke Vow and fell in love. We were introduced to the owner of his son Moi Daredevil a Mr Mrs Dibling and waited eventually having a pup from their dog Ch Moi Daredevil. Hence my Sam born 1978.

A love that due to Sam being so fantastic has never ever faltered since then Staffs for me everytime

Karen

Hmm the first dog we had was a gsd/labrador x, Tanja. She was the cutest thing.

Then we had Bonnie a black labrador.

I wanted a dog myself, and have waited since I was 18 years old. Now I'm 33 and got my Luna last year.

I wanted a labrador, but thought I would look at other breeds aswell. I researched different breeds, and the 2 last breeds on my list were a Hovawart and a labrador. I researched the Hovawart and I read it wasnt a good beginner-dog.

So I ended up with the labradorm which were my choice from the beginning

And I haven't regretted a single second..... And I want more.....
