Which well-known phrase or saying is THIS?

Poor Jemima passed away a while back; she was my mother's cat, burglar-catcher and sofa demolisher. I'm not a great fan of cats, normally, but this one was OK (scared the hell out of my Kali when he was not much more than a pup!).

OK, what's the phrase or saying?

hehe! so cute! Let that cat out the bag!!!!

Wonder what it is about black fluffy cats with big eyes?

We have one, Smitch, Smudge's sister. She hates Takara with a passion and she frightens the hell out of her too.

She doesn't learn though and if we're outside she tries to play with her. If we're inside and Smitch is in her normal place where she usually hisses at T, then T keeps well away!

One day, Jemima and Kali met in my mother's house. Kali wasn't quite a year old, and wasn't quite sure how to handle the situation. He hates cats with a passion beyond description, so I tied him to the table-leg, where he sat looking at me, as if to say "But it's a cat! Just untie me, and I'll get rid of it for you!"

He was no match for her when they did meet up later, loose. She gave him a helluva scragging and high-tailed it to the top of a wardrobe, where she hissed at him, and generally, gave him the finger. Her house , so why not?

still, he hasn't learned that cats have sharp bits, and he still tries to get at them, silly dog! And us BC people like to say how smart they are...........
