Morning Moyra and all who follow.
Hope you are feeling ok Moyra didn't see you about yesterday.

griff the sparrowhawk was in our garden we were back home. So no children about.
I'm like you I know it happens but my garden birds become like my pets, especially the sparrows and blackbirds. As Gorden said they have to eat to.
I would prefer not to see my little sparrows plucked from their hiding place though.
Couple of years ago at Upwell we had a Buzzard come down in the garden while I was out there and took one of the blackbirds I love to see them wheeling about and hear their cries but not so keen to see them take the garden birds.

Waiting for a new sofa to arrive.

Hope everyone and all four legged friends are well today.
