So a thing happened today

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq3v1-A25AI

Ended up with this little dude. Couldn't bear to let anything bad happen to him and there was no shelter space for 7 puppies with no mother etc. Only 1 male of the group... And I ended up with him. He's cute as a button. Nigredo said hi and moved along.

Hope he is ok after tumbling down the step. Plucky little guy and Nigredo is wonderful with him. Did you go specifically looking for another pup?

Didn't go looking for a dog... Actually told myself I wouldn't ever get another dog. Happened upon these little guys by accident.

As far as the step... He's fine. Been running like a goofball all over. He is currently yelling his head off in a crate. Puppies...

He's been a good boy EXCEPT he yells horribly in the crate. I don't use crates permanently for my dogs so hopefully he won't need it much soon. He's only 5-6 weeks so of course it needs time.

Yup. His name is Malone. He was running all over and being a little messpot and he's brown so I named him after a basketball player.

Switched his food and he has explosive diarrhea. Probably was not wise to switch it abruptly. Forgot puppies can be sensitive.

He's still eating and playing and normal... He just has butt pee. Hopefully it'll go away in a few days. He's a good dude. He cries when he needs to go and he has very few accidents. Only has accidents in his crate, even with the butt pee.

He has begun to jump up on people to greet them... which is classic annoying Labrador behavior. It is currently cute because he is tiny but will likely get annoying quick. He doesn't much like being outside... He much prefers to be inside. He's incredibly confident and can even navigate the stairs without help.

He does have extreme food greed. He snatches bits of food handed to him (biting you in the process) and he relentlessly tries to steal food. He will sit beside you and yap and jump up the entire time you're eating and he will steal if able. He doesn't have any food aggression, he's just extremely greedy. He also bites ankles and tugs pant legs... And he was biting hands but I have nipped that in the bud already.
