6 hour seizure

My Chiweenie seized for six hours. Now she acts like a person with extreme cerebral palsy.
I have to manually water and feed her. She's very eager for both. She stares at me a lot. She has no control over her legs, can't stand. Tumbles over.
But when I look down at her most of the time, she's still my little doogie.
The love of my life.
Is it wrong to take care of a dog like you would someone with cerebral palsy?
Maybe they sell doggie diapers.
Or should I put her out of her state.
Sometimes she looks miserable but not usually.
She just lays there and sometimes starts veering to the left, or right, stretching upwards.

I am sorry that your Chi has had such a severe seizure. It sounds as if she is not likely to improve, and you have to consider whether the quality of life that she has now is the way she would want to live. My own opinion is that if she can no longer live her life as a dog, I would allow her a peaceful death, but only you can make that decision. I can tell that you love her a great deal, and want to do your best for her. I'm sorry that I can only quote the mantra that death is better a few days too early than a day too late.

What has your vet said about her recovery prospects?

I'm with Chris. You need to seek a professional opinion and make a decision based on that.

Sorry. I assumed that this dog had been seen by a vet!

I am currently jobless, no transportation, out in the country. I didn't have the $125 upfront to get the vet into the office on a Saturday.
Despite the fact that I so eagerly dropped $300 to get her shots and a 6month supply of flea and heartworm medication.
But its my fault.
No pet owner should be without an emergency financial escape route.

She doesn't seem to be very miserable today. She just can't get around. But she's drinking out of the water bowl now. I'm waiting for signs of agony. I've been giving her massages, rubbing her tiny little muscles and she loves it. She gives me them googly eyes.
I'm with her every moment, gonna build her a contraption so she can eat her food on her own. Modify some baby equipment. Not sure how yet.
But when she takes another turn for the worse, I'll do the right thing.

How old is she? It sounds very much like a vestibular episode
