Lost weight feeling great

Over the past year I've been on a diet.managed to lose 2.5 stone.my achey bits don't hurt so much now.ive been exercising walking, cycling.although I do need them padded shorts lol achey bits.
But I'm 61 got a heart condition.kidneys not good. arthritis all over.but I'm refusing to give in to it.ive seen women younger than me in the mobility scooters where a lifestyle change would help.
Why I left it so long I don't know.
Oh and hubby has lost an amazing 7 stone!!!! He looks great.keeps being chatted up by the yummy mummies lol he's such a tart he loves it.
So if us 2 lazy couch potatoes can do it anyone can.
Just wanted to share.

Get a dog, an active one!
We did. All the walking has done wonders for me.
And my dear wife ensures that we have a healthy diet.

I retired a little over a year ago aged 69. In preparation I did two things. Got a dog and a camera. Both get me out walking. A lot.

Great job! Keep it up! It only takes a little bit to revert back to a sedentary lifestyle. Make it a habit and a part of you and you should do great!

sadly I had to have Ben p.t.s early July.his hopes got so bad he was having bad probs getting up.so he's now at the rainbow bridge.miss him dreadfully.couldnt get another dog he was one of the best ever.but miss the strokes.so any random dog that comes near me is guaranteed a lot of fuss.
