She often has a 'vacant' expression. She's very loving but not the sharpest tool in the shed compared to Spaniels.
As for the age. She will be 8 in January. I still think of her as being a baby but after Fingal and Skye left us she's now my oldest dog.
Dogs used to have such long lives when we were young. I know it's me getting older but these days their lives pass so quickly.

Thanks - she is a very gentle dog. Not wise & noble like Skye was. Not full on like Fingal and Mij. She's kind of sensitive and caring. A mother hen if you like.

Cheers - She's got a bit 'wider' over the last year but I think she's about right just now.
