To be honest, I'm not much interested in anything that's on at present.
One of my good pals is the same. I pointed out to him one day that almost ALL the actors he watches on TV are now demised! (He used to always be watching something called GOLD?) this was a few years ago.

But it was all Last of the Summer, Dad's Army, Open all Hours, stuff like that.

I only see selective bits of UK TV now (and don't have time to watch more than I do even though I can access it on the net via VPN)

I disagree there is not much worth watching on these days. I am currently enjoying some super stuff put out on the BBC.

I have a short attention span where TV is concerned so prefer half hour, light hearted stuff which seems lacking these days. Most of the comedies these days seem more slap stick which I can't abide

Much prefer a good book to be honest

For me its not telly or books. Its both! Real books and books on kindle. I've downloaded another 4 today. Read a whole book today ... half while sunbathing and half in the bath. I multitask all the time!

I have TV on all the time I Am working online. My job would be very boring if I didn't have something else to listen to at the same time. I oust on this forum while I'm waiting for stuff to upload to the web!

And my viewing tastes are eclectic. Anything but soaps. I detest soaps.

Current programs Criminal Minds love it.
I remember Fawlty Towers, Monty Python AND Benny Hill...official dinosaur. Nowadays repeats of Law and Order:SVU, South Beach Towing and Mysteries of the Museum. Otherwise I read far more than watching TV.

Something I would like to watch sometime is "Orange is the New Black". The book was entertaining and the show was a hit. I'm just not even sure what Netflix is, not very techy.

I loved 'Orange is the new black'!
I hope there's a new series coming out soon!

PS: netflix is a streaming website that you can subscribe to. In the UK it's £5.99 per month and you can watch loads of films and tv programs online. You can watch it on your laptop or smart tv or wii (I'm sure there are more).
I really like netflix as we don't have a tv connection
