The show today

Well apparantly Leo´s shedding was not issue at all since he earned his last leg towards the Icelandic Champion today

Now we only need one leg to the international champion.

He did awesome and I was so proud of him

I also got a praise from the judge for showing him well so I´m a little proud of myself as well since I´ve only been doing this for about 6 shows

My son took first place with the kids showing (what is that called?) and they worked so well together. I didn´t see it for myself since I have to be out of Leo´s sight while they are in the ring but had eyes out there for me

Overall this was an excellent day

Oh well done indeed and now you can relax and stop worrying about the shedding too!

Yes I was worrying for nothing for sure. I tend to do that. I get so nervous for a show that I nitpick at something stupid so I don´t get overwhelmed

I just saw your entry Gemini54

This was more than just papillons.

I agree that it is very good for kids to learn how to handle dogs and to work with them as it teaches patience and problemsolving amongs other things. Not all dogs learn the same or handle the same so to be able to handle and teach them, one has to be flexible with methods.

Hi I agree,but why I was asking if it was papillions,is because they could be handling a whole variety of breeds,which is better for a junior handler,than just one breed.Gemini54
