1 Stone to lose :(

I had to see the consultant at the hospital yesterday and the next step will be a neurologist.
In the mean time I have to lose a stone in weight. I do know that realistically I need to lose nearer 4 stone, I think the consultant was being kind
So today I went to Sainsburys and bought loads of salad stuff, veg, healthy and low fat "stuff"

As I came through the checkout all I could see were trolleys piled high with cakes, cream, pizzas, pies, booze ...... aw, I'm craving already

C'mon Jenny, you can do it!!!
You don't want that horrible, stodgy, fatty, sugary, artery clogging poison! If you feel tempted, imagine whatever you're fancying covered/filled with pubic hair................Do you still want it?

Invest in a few bottles of chilli sauce, it livens up anything 'boring'.

Good luck! x

my mum had to loose a lot more before she could have her surgery . she managed it though, i think it helped her knowing that it would eventually mean (by way of surgery) she could keep control of certain functions etc. keep thinking of the end product and you will be fine xx

You're not alone Nippy, I've also got to lose weight for a operation but in my case it's more like five stone

Good luck with yours.

Granny Nippy...

I have lost 12lbs in the last 11 weeks by calorie counting, using the weightlossresources.co.uk website.

I haven't felt particularly 'on a diet', or deprived of anything. In fact, for tea last night we had smoked haddock in a cheese and chive sauce, dauphinoise potatoes with gruyere and garlic, and caramel carte d'or ice cream for dessert. I was still within my calories for the day.

I've lost 2 dress sizes in that time and feel fantastic. Don't get me wrong, I've had days where I've felt down, or I've eaten too many calories, but overall, I feel much more in control of my eating etc.

Granny Nippy - you can do it! But don't forget diet isn't everything. If you need to, you can borrow Louie, he'll walk for miles if Pepsi won't

Good luck! I'm sure you can do it. You've certainly got the support on here.
