Music Music Music !

This is just me being nosey

I love music but tend to be out of step with everyone else's taste
JLS, Take That, Shenia Twain etc, is not foe me.
My taste goes from
Tom Waits
http://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&fe...&v=0P5jV4lHHR0

To Vintage Trouble
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_we_...eature=related

Quite possibly the most exciting band to emerge in 2011, unbelievably good live, best put on your dancin' shoes for this one

I won't go into my, Magazine/Bauhaus/ Theatre of Hate/ Danielle Dax stuff, it would only make your ears bleed
So come on, it's Saturday night, relive your youth and lets see what floats your boat

How very dare you !!!....great music will never die !

just you wait, give it another 5 years and Justin Bieboid will have had his day and be washed up with the rest of them, then we'll see who's dead....then we'll see ( cue maniacal laughter )

there isnt a how dare me

its just true

there cant be any new forms of music, there arent any more sounds or genres to be found in rock or pop.

everything is regurgitated now.

its not about justin biba, its about everyone.
thats why radio 1 and 2 are the same now and play the same music, the generation gap when it comes to music doesnt exist anymore.

there is no modern music for us oldies to moan about, that we can call a din and say its not proper music like when we was young.
as all the artists that come out now have just copied something from when we were young....so the complaint is merely that all modern music is dull, boring, and derivative

hence why david quantick a few years back said "pop will eat itself", this has now come true.

As if Bauhaus and Magazine could ever make my ears bleed!

From them I moved onto early Cure (Faith, Pornography etc), Cocteau Twins, Bunnymen and many others I have long since forgotten. We were John Peel's Children

Post Peel - I am a bit lost. But I do like Explosions In The Sky.
