My oh detests them that much that even though he is cooking Xmas dinner, he says if I want them I have to cook them myself. Both him and my my nephew will be sat at the table pulling faces while mam, my sister and me dive into a big pile. His mam, bless her, no longer remembers that she disliked them so will eat them if we give her some

I can't stand them neither can my OH, but I'll cook them because Bubble n Squeak on Boxing day just isn't the same without them

Mind you I've been winding the kids up saying they've got to eat 1 on xmas day - It's the law dontcha know

I used to love sprouts - still would if I could get them. I did see some fresh sprouts once in one of the large supermarkets and nearly had to take out a bank loan for a punnet of about 9 tiny sprouts.

There are frozen sprouts sometimes available but they are absolutely tasteless.

I absolutely adore sprouts, even more so the ones at Christmas as they are big and very tasty especially covered in brown sauce, yummy. They're also nice to dip in yougurts. You can do so much with sprouts.
