LONG time no post!
I joined this site last year, made a few posts and then completly forgot about it,duh.
So I thought I'd share some pics again.
We had a new addition in Oct/Nov, (can't remember which).A friend txt me one Saturday eve,the txt said..'know anyone who wants a 12 week old SBT pup'.For a joke I txt back 'me'.
I really didn't want another puppy though,4 dogs really is enough for me,but I went to see her and fell in love.
She was so mangy looking all bald round the back of her ears, and all underneath. She was so bright,I taught her to sit showing her once with a toy.
She had severe seperation anxiety, not suprising as she'd already had 5 crap homes at 12 weeks old.Even being seperated from you by a baby gate,or the dog guard in the car and she was hysterical. She broke all her canines trying frantically to get out of her cage,or through the dog guard in the car,and used to get in such a frothing/foamy mess from screaming that she'd be sick,I'd never seen anythin like it,and I've been working with dogs for 20 years.
So I couldn't let her go to just anyone, she was going to be hard work, and if people gave in and let her sleep with them etc,the seperation anxiety would spiral out of control.
So she came home with me,I named her Floozie, thinking no one could be scared of a dog named Floozie
She is a superstar, once we got over the SA which only took a month or so with playing crate grames ( a dvd) and being super consistent, she has never looked back.
Little baldy ears when we first got her,she also had no fur under her tail.
