Jamie Oliver's 30 minute recipies book

Does anyone have this book and is it any good?

Thinking of getting it when I pop out later.

Or should I be looking at something else?

Recommendations welcome.

i bought it for my mum for her birthday and she loves it! i watched the tv program he did on it too and the food looked gorgeous

the book is good theres some nice recipes in it, id reccomend it!

I got it for Christmas, and there are some very good recipes in it, have not tried any yet, but will be doing quite a lot of them!

Bill brought it back for my friend so I decided I ought to have one too. I haven't done anything with any of the recipes yet but my friend has and she is very pleased with it. She liked the programme too. I've heard criticism that the meals take longer than 30 minutes to do but I'm sure with practice they would get easier for the non chefs. I love Jamie Oliver, he cooks dishes that I could deal with and get the ingredients for without trawling fancy shops which I don't have anyway.

it does say in the book that in orer to make the meals in 30 minutes, you do need a food processor and some other bits and as i dont have most of the items (teeny kitchen) i thought id hang on to trying th recipes

You can't beat Nigella............

i haven't tried a nigella recipe yet - think i might have a gander i do love her programmes, she is so enthusiastic ove desserts i love desserts! lol

The recipes seem very good but even with pre preparing a lot of the ingredients I can't make any so far in less than an hour. (only tried 4). I don't consider myself a beginner either so anyone with only a little cooking experience may take even longer.

That said the food is very nice.
