How sad

Aw found this on a website and found it so sad how true it must be for some dogs

A dog sits waiting in the cold autumn sun,
Too faithful to leave, to frightened to run
He's been here for days now with nothing to do
But sit by the road waiting for you
He can't understand why you left him that day
He thought you were stopping to play
He's sure you'll come back and that's why he stays
How long will he suffer? How many more days?
His legs have grown weak, his throat's parched and dry
He's sick now from huger and falls with a sign
He lays down his head and closes his eyes

I wish you could see how a waiting dog dies

Just read that Zoe after posting about Muffin, who passed away last night. Beautiful, sad, but not what I needed today.

Real honest words, and sadly so true,

that has made me cry - so, so sad

Sorry if i upset you Ashlady, i did not intend too my thoughts are with you for poor muffin

Crying again today after reading that and hearing about Ashlady's poor friend's Muffin.

Sadly this tale rings so true doesn't it.

I know Helena its one bad thing after another first sox then Abe now Muffin so sad
