Yep ~ he's had the opportunity to have his views taken seriously, he's had his knowledge of learning theory totally annihilated, he's been personally criticised, he's had scientific papers, articles, statements from highly-respected animal organisations quoted to him, he's been criticised for his one-size (collar!)-fits-all approach & been hauled over the coals for his absence of knowledge in even the most basic of areas ~ and still he comes back for more

To his credit, despite the battering he's taken here, he has remained polite & not risen to the criticism.

I just assume he's getting huge commissions from the ecollar manufacturers!

He hasn`t been battered, he`s been answered. And to me, the detached tone (I wouldn`t say polite because he cherry-picks points to discuss and ignores those he finds uncomfortable) points more to someone who has no love of dogs.

AP has received a figurative battering, often you have given him a battering.
you have done so as you passionately hate ecollars.

So what about the "battering" Adam has given us (and many other people on dog forums all across the net?). Doesn't his dogged insistence of how e-collars are wonderful constitute an onslaught of opinion in its own right? Who exactly is doing the most battering here?
