S*d getting the camera and photographing it! I'd have fetched an axe and a pair of very sharp scissors in case the dog was still alive!

I know it's just natures way and all that but my dogs are like my family, my cousin kept pythons and they often ate their prey alive, I think i'd have tried getting her out just in case, especially if it happened as fast as it seems it did. Poor dog.

just in case of any sick n twisted individuals who happen to find themselves in this predicament...

...cutting open the snake wont save your dog (or any other animal). All non venomous snakes will constrict prior to eating. that means dead. even if they aint dead, they go in head first and even for small rats and mice can take a few minutes to fully go down. that means very dead.

if it is a venomous snake, then that means very very dead, and you'd be a fool to go and get it.

Oh and chopping open a snake just to rescue a dead dog makes you as bad as the snake, except no ones gonna gut you open...
