oh i found a pic that looks very similar to the dog that was on the field. im not sure if its a pit or a staffy. maybe you can shine some light on this? but the dog didnt have clipped ears, same shape, build and funny enough colours

I think it is highly unlikely it was a Pit Bull. More likely a Staffie or a Staff mix. Look at my 'Find the Pit Bull' thread.

Please report this to the police. I am at a loss as to why you are even hesitating. Imagine how you would feel if this dog attacked and seriously injured a child.

That looks just like a Staffie to me. Shame about the ears.

i think in my mind i know i have to report it, but if something happened to the dog i would feel horrible. its prob not even his fault, its just the stupid owners fault for not bringing him up properly

You are not responsible for what happens to the dog. Even a prosecution does not necessarily mean the court would order it to be pts. Think how you would feel if someone was mutilated by that dog tomorrow.

yeah i would feel soooooo responsible if that happened. i think i will report it 2moz when i get up, its not worth the risk to anyone else who may be hurt
