Alaskan Malamute : Character (LOL)
Samoyed : Just cos they are great
Chow : Always admired..don't fancy the grooming tho
Shiba Inu : big tanks in wee tank bodies
Siberian Husky : not sure I would ever get one..but they have so much similarity to the Mal that it would be an injustice not to mention them LOL

(and I have to add Greenland dogs too!)

Oh and, ( I know it's more than 5 but I can't help it) St Bernard. What is it with me and big breeds. I'm only 5' and a dog end

1. Border collie- I do love a smart dog, and so cute and loyal too
2. GSD - I am a sucker for longcoats they are a real 'doggy dog' if you know what I mean
3. Leonberger- The fluff compells me
4. Shiba Inu- Keep all the other dogs in line
5. Kooikerhondje- They look awesome, shame there aren't many over here

My top five are:

1. Workline German Shepherd - for their loyalty, devotion, eagerness to learn and please, intelligence and character and of course stunning looks.
2. Rottweiler - for their character, clownish ways, calm nature, looks and trainability.
3. Utonagan/Northern inuit - for their natural, unexaggerated wolfish good looks.
4. Golden retrievers - for their sensitivity, biddability, good nature and looks.
5. Malamutes - for their looks, free-spiritedness, independance and love of life (I love to admire them from afar, but no where near brave, or patient, enough to have one!)

Hard to pick just 5 as I have a huge list!!!!

LAB - Dont think I could live without one!

ESS - Gorgeous and crazy! love em!

LARGE MUNSTERLANDER - A very underestimated breed they are just fab!

GSD - Just so loyal and faithful!

DOBE _ Would love one - but not for me at mo, one for the future!!!

My top 5 would be:

Irish Setter
Gordon Setter
Irish Red & White Setter
Welsh Springer Spaniel
Boxer

There are really only two breeds for me ...

German Shepherd - particularly the longcoats. I love everything about them. They are my fav breed of all time.

Border Collie - just love the whole package.

If I were pressed, then I also really like ...

Scottish Deerhound - really noble looking dogs.

Dobermann - always fancied one since watching "The Doberman Gang" as a child!

Bearded Collie - for their stunning looks and clownish behaviour!

Irish Setter & Old-fashioned large Rough Collie - dogs I walked as a child and always longed for them to be mine!

There are loads and loads of breeds I really like, but doubt I will ever own anything other than GSDs and BCs.

1. Chihuahua Smoothcoat - They are just perfect. Everything I want from a dog.

2. Chihuahua Longcoat - Same as above but they are like tiny teddies!

3. Bichon Frise - Owned one. She died of old age 3 years ago She was lovely. Fantastic temperament with kids.

4. Yorkshire Terrier - Have had three over the years. But sadly they are all gone now but lived to good ages

5. SBT - Well, I'm not a 'big' dog lover (even though these are not "big" you know what I mean) but I have a bit of a soft spot for this breed. I have yet to meet a nasty one. Every single one I have met has been great with my little ones and marvellous with kids! This would be my choice if I ever went into a larger breed than Chihuahua.

1.) Longcoat GSD - but only when they come guaranteed healthy - they are so close to being people
2.) Alaskan Malamute - a dog that can do so much and enjoy anything you ask it to do
3.) Flat coated retriever but the amount of cancer in the breed puts me off
4.) I love Hungarian Viszla - one day
5.)Polish Lowland

1= Whippet - gentle, fun, elegant

1= Miniature Schnauzer - intelligent, feisty, loving

3 - Japanese Shiba Inu - adore that foxy face

4 - Border Terrier - characterful, clever

5 - Hungarian Vizsla - gorgeous, elegant
