How depressing!!!

Wasn't listening, can't stand Eastenders in the 25 years or so that it's been on nothing nice has ever really happened, everyone sleeps with everyone elses husbands/wives/girlfriends/boyfriends, quite happy to deal in dodgy stuff and have the morals and manners of an alley cat!

Well after all the hype in the papers about how you need to get your hanky out, I thought I would watch it. Yes I needed my hanky to cry thinking I could have been doing something else instead of watching such a boring depressing episode.

that's why I did not watch, I had an inkling it wouldn't be much fun.

By the way, anyone know what is wrong with Minty's girlfriend, (Hazel I think). I know they think she is preggers, but I'm presuming she has got something wrong with her?

oh it was rubbish tonight - i actually fell asleep watching that

Sometimes I don't mind those 'monologue' episodes, but tonight I didn't mind being in the kitchen grilling the OH's pork chop!

If I watch a 'soap' and it's the only one I watch, I want a bit of light entertainment. I love the character of Dot, and admire June as an actress, especially when Ethel was dying, but I just wasn't in the mood tonight.

I have to add my thoughts are with John Bardon (Jim Branning) and his family.

My OH knew it was going to be just Dot on the whole of the programme and still he watched it! I was bored stiff and was sick and tired of Dot's voice at the end of the programme! Even the dog was bored and started barking half way through it!

I said to my OH at least it gave the rest of the cast a day off, I bet they appreciated that

what actually happened to jim one day he was in it the next he was in hospital....
