That'll teach me

Decided to have a gentle walk with the dogs this morning as I was taking them out for a long walk later.

So, I didn't take any balls or toys for the dogs. Big mistake...this is the result of leaving Hoki to find her own entertainment....

Not sure whether its fox's or deer's, but there was an awful lot of it and she stank

On the plus side, she had plenty to occupy her on the way home - snapping at all the flies that were attracted to her lovely smell

I know the feeling well ,Ive never used so much tomatoe sauce in my life. (I know tinned toms are cheaper but I dont find them as good). We usually have about five foxes through the garden at night. The woman up the road buries steak and whole eggs for them in the garden!!!!!!!!!!

Trouble is, I'm not sure about using tomato on Hoki in case it stains her white coat.

Gave her a shower and shampoo this morning and she's spent ages in the river this afternoon - there's still a bit of a whiff every now and then, but not as bad as it was

I've never had any trouble removing it,one of mine is bluemerle and white and its always around her white collar!!
Dont tend to use the cheaper brands as they do have a lot of dye in them.

What does the tomato sauce do? I have never heard of this before-does it kill the smell or help to get it off?

both I think..

I would guess fox, as deer poo would be more "grassy" and probably less smelly. Oh well, next time you may have learnt to bring toys on short walks too
