Branscombe Beach Walk

Took Monty to Branscombe Beach in Devon with some friends yesterday and he loved his first trip to the beach and needless to say was shattered for the rest of the day:

He met a new friend in Molly:

Got rather narky with an old milk bottle:

And a stone:

Wasn't sure about the sea:

Nope, definitely not dipping my big toe in there Mum, I'm off:

Tiring business this beach thing so i'll just have a cuddle with Dad:

Thanks for looking

Thanks for the comments. We had a great day, was a bit worried we'd over-walked him but he was fine. Thats the one thing i love most about Devon is that there are so many beautiful places to walk and considering i've lived here 10 years i've hardly seen any of them!! Amazing what you discover when you've got a dog!!

Aw, he is beautiful!! I remember my two doing that with stones and leaves - those ears!

Isn't it great when you can tire him out like that!!

Certainly is!! We stopped at a pub on the way back that allowed dogs and he curled up on a chair next to us and slept then slept in the car all the way home and then flaked on the sofa when we got in!

I literally had to carry him to the kitchen for his dinner which is very rare!!
