UPPINGHAM FUN DOG SHOW 2008

1:00pm - 4:30pm
Leicester Field, Leics Road
Uppingham

As part of the Uppingham Fete, Flower & Produce Show, the organisers are proud to announce two new classes for this year's Fun Dog Show!

1 Best puppy (age 6 - 12mths)
2 Most handsome dog
3 Best six legs
4 The cleverest dog
5 Prettiest bitch
6 Best rescue-rehomed
7 The dog the judge would most like to take home

Rules:
All dogs must be aged 6months+ and fully innoculated. No bitches in season please! All dogs should be kept on the lead at all times. Entries for the cleverest dog needs to complete basic obedience commands before doing a 'trick' or displaying an unusual talent. This 'talent' or 'trick' must not be harmful to dogs or humans. All handlers must complete and sign an entry form and pay the appropriate class fee prior to the start of the relevant class(es) to be eligible for competition. Dogs need not be KC registered. Winning any of the classes does not constitute automatic entry to KC shows. The judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. Acceptance of all Uppingham Fun Dog Show rules is deemed by the signed completion of an entry form. The organisers accept no liability for injury, damage or loss howsoever sustained. The term "dog" refers to both sexes. The term "Handler" refers to the competitor and does not have to be the owner.

Class Fee:
Entry fees on the day will be £1.50 per dog per class and must be received no later than ten minutes before the relevant class. No advanced entries.

Rosettes & Best Dog Award:
Rosettes will be awarded to 4th place (except ‘Best in Show’ award qualifier).

The winners of all classes need to enter the dog show ring at about 3.45pm to be judged for the "Best in Show" at Uppingham Fun Dog Show 2008 award, which they may keep.

Call 07906 854424 for queries and information on the dog show only.
