Small Animal/Non Dog Showing Marquee

FAQ

Ladies and gents,
the Show Sec is thrilled to be opening the
new Marquee within the Virtual Show Grounds
so that non canines can be Shown too

Initially, classes will be run as Dash type
with winners chosen by member vote.
Frequency of classes will start off at around one a
week to allow time for entries, votes, any finals votes,
and awards preparations.

Should this section of the show ground become
popular enough over time, there may be standard
classes included run the same way as the
Dog Show classes,
but we`ll take it a step at a time for now

Some classes will invite art work type entries,
[ such as the Easter Eggstravaganza class in the Dog Show ],
and others will have various `photo as is` themes.

There will be opportunities to match up with other
members also,
just like many of the current Dash classes,
and there will be some Open classes where any
variety of pet, [ except dogs ], can be entered in the same class.

There will be wildlife classes also,
for which photo`s taken at Zoo`s and Wildlife parks, garden, or anywhere out and about can be entered.

All photo`s in any class must have been taken by the entrant,
no copy right issues please,
and lifting photo`s from someone else`s work is not permitted.

If you have any questions or suggestions for this part of the Show ground, please post on this thread.
More FAQ info will be added to this post for easy reference as and when needed.

Notices announcing classes for this section
will always be posted in the
Other Pets And Animals
area of the Forums.

All classes will run within the Showgrounds
and will be linked to on this post as and when they open,
so for quick reference, this is the post to check

Cool .xx Are you doing a thread to see what other animal's people have got like for the dog dash class but we could then go to it and see if anyone has a cat or whatever we could pair up with?

There will be a pairing up thread yep
I will be putting it in the Other Pets and Animals section then any time such a class will run I`ll bump that thread by giving details on it of the class people need to match up for as well as linking to the thread for each relevant class

It's great that other pets can take part in the show But I don't know who has cats in the forum. Anybody willing to pair up with mine?

Hi Suzanka, click on the link to the pairing up thread which is on post one of this thread, just above the name of the first class
Make sure to read the entry info for the class - you need to find partners with pets of different species to your own pets for this one

Thanks

They would come under pets hun, this class is for non-pet wildlife, and no you can`t take them outside to photograph them in the grass then claim them as wild
