We are home

Just a quick update,Tom was discharged this morning.

We've just got back about an hour ago.
His operation went well,he was 4 hrs in threatre and he looked awful when he came around and fightened me but he's ok with a very sore mouth.

He had 3 spoonfuls of mash & gravy for tea and a few hrs later had a yogurt.
He had a good night sleep wise and was alot brighter this morning. He had two weetabix for breakfast, followed by mashed banana and custard for lunch,he's having mashed potatoe with cheese for tea. It's all soft food for 2-3 weeks.

He has two different painkillers, antibiotics and mouthwash.
His surgeon is very pleased with him, she's is wonderful. All the staff and nurses have been fantastic!!

And thanks for all your wishes xx
