Finty being spayed tomorrow.....

Due to a none stop season the vet has decided to bring forward her spaying. As we were waiting till she had put on more weight. Although she now weighs in at a much healthier 30kg ( she was 23kg when mum got her). She is 6 and this is believed to be her first season in years due to her being under weight. Typical it had to go wrong. Apparently she is not stopping ovulating . So she goes in 9am tomorrow, please keep everything crossed that all goes well for her. She is being sedated while mum is there as she suffers really bad from separation anxiety so we thought it would be easier on her....

Will update as we know more xx

thanks for your kind thoughts, well she went in this morning and was almost asleep when mum left her. We are now just waiting for the phone call to collect her.

Mum was sat in the waiting room while the pre med took effect when one woman came up to her and said awww are you having her put down , now I know she looked very groggy but not that bad What an invcensitive thing to say as if you would let your dog be put to sleep in the waiting room

Sorry I missed this yesterday, hope all went well and you get her home soon. I hope your Mum has survived the day well too, nothing worse is there!

Just had a call she is awake, they had found lots of cysts on her ovaries, so that might have been causing the extra long season. Mum is on her way to collect her now so i will know more later. Do they remove the ovaries too?

keep you updated as and when
