Oh how sad is Marley and me...

I have just finished reading 'Marley and me' by John Grogan, I must admit Ive been glued to it for the past week...and I finished tonight, tears in my eyes.. It was so very sad.

Do any of you recommend a good doggy read? Im itching to read another, Im not a big reader but I do ebjoy doggy tales!! xxxxx

I saw this book at the weekend when I was in WHSmith getting stuff for college and almost picked it up.

I will definately be getting it now that I have heard first hand what a good read it is

There is another doggy one called Walking Ollie which is quite good about a rescue dog. Can't remember author unfortunately.

I loved Marley and me also-laughed out loud and cried in equal measures.

Marley reminded me so so much of a very wonderful but very naughty lab who was the love of my life!

I have ordered 'Amazing Gracie' (another doggie tale!)from Amazon to read on my hols, so will let you know what its like! Then if its any good will gladly post out to anyone. I think thats a great idea, I was only saying to my mum the other day how you only ever read a book once (usually)!! So it seems a waste!! xxxx

I know! I have been constantly reading short bits out from the book to the OH to convince him Flower isnt the naughtiest dog ever!! Some of the things Marley got up to were rather similar to what goes on in our house.... xx
