Repent! The end of the world is nigh!

OK, folks, you have only 24 years to make your peace with your God!

Here comes the closest pass (if, indeed, it is a pass) by a lump of space rock. On Friday 13 April 2029, "MN4" (a rock 1/4 mile across) is expected to pass within 22000 miles of the Earth, being visible from the UK with the naked eye.

The question is whether or not it's NASA gearing up for the greatest hoax yet perpetrated? Not only is it a Friday 13th, but if you add the numbers in 2029, they add up to 13 as well! Spooooooooooooky!

(not likely to be here by then!)

Your a cheerful soul Snorri I guess that's what happens when you live in a place where it is dark a lot too much time for brooding you should take up knitting like Ian..perhaps you could knit a sleeve of this famous jumper each

When I'm not on Dogweb, I'm making beer! It helps me to ignore the outside weather. Then when we get to summer, with its 23 hours a day sunlight, it helps me get to sleep!

Ohh I hate reading stuff like that.

There seems to have been so many dates for the end of the world that I couldnt count them all on my hand. Untill I see the rock flying towards us I will carry on as normal lol.
