Doctors??

I phoned the surgery this morning as my daughter has coughed herselve sick twice in half an hour and has a temp.
She isn't a sicky child and only been to the Docs twice (exept for jags) in three and a half years.
I was told that because it was Mon morning they had no appointments left. Did I want a doc to phone me? Yip please.
The Doc phoned a while ago, I told her that Ceilidh has now got a bit of a temp. Low and behold I have an appointment for 11.30!!!!
I know they keep some but I wouldn't have classed her as an emergency. What's your thoughts?
O'h I'm not an inexperianced mum either my kids ages are 3, 13 17 21,21 and 24 two twin grandchildren (girls) 14 months!!
anyone spot the accident? LOL

jacquie you know your own child and if you have the slightest concers do not take no for an answer insist you go, far better to be an over anxious mother than to have a sick child. My friend Karren was told by her doctor she was an 'over anxious mother ' and her baby son turned out to have meningitis and ended up spending months in Birmingham CH. Michael was left profoundly deaf Hope your little one is better soon

Glad too say they dont all live with us now. Just the 17 (boy) 13 (boy) who will be 14 soon, if I let him live that long! LOL and our wee girl.

Just back from the Docs, she has an ear infection and a chest infection yet didn't complain. She'll be better once the anitbiotics kick in. Thank you all for your best wishes!
