Lofty - Border Collie

Lofty has come to Wiccaweys from Limerick Animal Welfare with his best friend Basil. He is 11 months

Lofty loves the company of other dogs, but is terrified of people. At the moment he depends a lot on other dogs including Basil, and they are helping him to learn that not all people are bad. Lofty has made new friends at Wiccaweys in the shape of Mars & Rye. They love playing racy-chasey games, and having wrestling matches.

Lofty will need a very gentle and understanding home.

Lofty is a lovely looking dog, his photo does not do him justice at all. He almost has a Flat Coat Retriever look to him.

Lofty is very sweet and we think he is a smashing lad.

If you feel you can offer Lofty the home he deserves, please telephone us on: 07905 203254 (please note we only accept enquiries for dogs by telephone - we like to have a chat with you!)

He is gorgeous - I do hope he finds someone soon to help him overcome his fear of people. He looks very much like a collie x golden retriever that I know.

Lofty paid us all a visit at Wiccaweys yesterday and he looks like a different dog to the one who went off on foster. He had a lovely glossy coat, looked really relaxed on lead and was completely at home and comfortable with his two children friends.

Now all he needs is his very own special family to love and care for him.

Lofty has been renamed Charlie by the children in his foster home.

He is such a lovely lad.
