Healing vibes for Loui(s)e. *Bunny spay*

Louie went in to be spayed (turns out he's a she ) today. It went well but the vet wants to keep her in over night because she didn't come round as well as they expected her to
They said she is ok but I'm still worried.
Hopefully will be going to pick her up in the morning

Healing vibes for Louie please!

Thanks Jen, Ian and Helen I'm pleased in a way though that she gets to stay at the vets instead of here. At least there is someone about to keep an eye on her

AWwww poor Louie - she will forgive you soon I'm sure! In a way it's probably a good thing she stays, as there will be someone to keep an eye on her and give her more medication throughout the night if she needs it. Sometimes these buns do need some gut stimulant and extra painkiller for a couple of days. Hopefully she will bounce back very soon! xxx

hope louie makes a speedy and complete recovery.

a rabbit breeder friend rendered me speechless (a feat in itself) when she told me that one of her champion Does, who had luckily already given her some promising kits, had grown a penis (but no testicles...yet).
I had no idea they had the capacity to change sex - y'live an learn!

Louie is home now She was eating a little at the vets so that's good She has been to the toilet fine too. She came out of her box into her hutch ok and has moved about a little. Seems to be ok, just a bit mopey We have to take her back on Friday for her 1st check up!

Good luck with your girl Doggydina I feel so mean, don't you?!
