Which breakdown cover?

We are thinking about changing our breakdown cover, currently with Direct Line but fancy a change.

Any suggestions? Always good to get recommendations.

Just joined the RAC again. I think there is a discount if you join online at the moment.

I've been with Britannia Rescue for years it is the only privately owned breakdown service left in the UK Solely owned by The CSMA(Civil Service Motoring Association(reduced fees if you qualify to join the CSMA)open to everyone & it always tops the independant surveys done by the likes of Which etc

I've been getting free breakdown cover for years with my home and contents insurance via the Natwest Bank. I've used it once or twice and it's good. Others may also do it.

I'm with the RAC, after getting left at the side of the mororway for 4 hours a few years back with the AA.Last night i was having problems starting my car and the RAC came out and tried to mend it then took it to a local garage very promptly.I'd really recommend them!!

My OH

Seriously, I prefer the RAC. They are a little more expensive than some other breakdown companies, but it's worth it for the cover you get
