Discover Dogs

Hey, just been browsing the Kennel Club website and saw that the tickets for Discover Dogs 2006 are on sale. Just wondering what peoples thoughts are about Discover Dogs and who's going? Sounds like it could be good??? Cheers

Discover Dogs is just brilliant!

My sister and I have been a couple of times, and I'm hoping to get down for it again this year (she lives in London anyway.) We've also persuaded our mum to come over from Northern Ireland for the occasion, and we're rallying husbands, in-laws and family friends to come along too

What I would say, is it's not a great idea to take your own dogs along, unless you're representing one of the breed clubs of course! It is totally hectic, and you want to be able to give your full attention to the mini agility, rescue dogs displays and other such doggy-madness.

Start saving now, because there's so much stuff to buy (and beers are pricey ), and make sure you give it a whole day at least, because there are soooo many dogs to cuddle

I think you wil find that you cannot take your own dogs unless pre entered/invited/qualified they are taking part

I went last year and loved it It is a great day out with so much to see! There are loads of gorgeous dogs there and it's a good way to meet breeds that aren't very common
I would be going again this year if I hadn't moved house.

Be warned though you will probably come home with lots of new breeds to add to your "I want" list!
