Anyone seen the new RSPCA TV adverts?

Has anyone seen either of the new RSPCA adverts in relation to the animal welfare bill? I saw both last night but there is a link on the RSPCA website if you haven't seen them.

What do people think of them?

To be honest I found the old style ads more hard hitting, seeing the state the poor dogs were in it broke my heart.

Dressing dogs up like chavs dosent make me want to donate.

I dont like the new ads, people need to see the dogs and cats in the situations to get an idea why the RSPCA need to be funded.

Stupid and a waste of public money! I can imagine the big fat bosses in their big fat chairs saying lets do a budget advert 'make us look like we're saving money with animations'.
Load of balls to me! Give to local rescues they work and need it harder.

Hmm. That was the way I was thinking as well. They were just very odd I thought.

They are supposed to be giving information on how to take better care of our pets but they really don't give very much information at all, just a number to call to find out how to take better care of your pet.

I thought they were quite pointless too which is a shame because they could have been quite informative and worthwhile.

Prefer the straightforward hard hitting ads that show what the RSPCA deal with.

I agree with Luz. I'd rather every penny raised went to the animals instead of these adverts.
Surely it would be cheaper just to do a small low budget ad

I thought they were very weird, and i used to work in advertising!

I didn't like the fact they say animals are more human than you think..... as thats exactly what appeals to me about animals..... that they AREN'T like some humans!

These seemed silly and more take the mickey than hard hitting facts.
I prefer the old ones they were hard to watch and broke your heart.
