Ruffords show (what a good day)

So many dogs around on the day, a few grabbed my eye... i managed to take some pics. if anyone whats to see.

http://www.american-bulldog.co.uk//f...ic.php?p=67#67

All in all i took over 60 pictures on the day, but i havn't posted all of them as the digi camera isn't the greatest.

The day started at 6 o'clock for us both and by the we got home (7.30) from the (390 mile round trip) we were both exhausted.

Cannot wait until the next...

HI Kirsty,

Great pictures looks like there were some great dogs there, so are the less bully type of ABs known as "Standard"? I think my preference is for that type, not too keen on the heavy bully type. Here are a few of the ones I really liked;

The dog on the right (brindle pied standing) is really awsome looking, I really really like the look of this dog do you have any mroe info on him, love his overal shape?

Like the dog here standing with the owners hand on his back

And of course Chester - well done to you!
Sorry about repeating the pics there were so many nice looking dogs in that set of pics I couldnt pick just one I liked.

I think i know why its not showing... Ian has banned from using pics on other sites, as the bandwidth gets exceeded otherwise.

Didn't think of that at the time ops:

I thought of selling a car... but still wouldn't get enough from the car to pay for a pup

The 10th pic down won the standard class... he was lovely, there were only 4 dogs in that class incl Chester, who won nothing.

The judges said that Chester has needed cleaning up around his face... not sure what they meant by that and as Sarah was walking him around the ring his was straining against the lead, he is only used to the harness,

He still no1 to us

Definitly well worth it.
Except i think sometimes they should be abit more exspensive just to stop some idiots think about getting one... but saying that if the breeder doesn't like you then your not getting one.

And in Sarahs case if she or Jake the AB doesn't like you, then you havn't got a chance in hell

We had someone come on Sunday to have a look at our pups. Kruger was growling and barking at them, his hackles were up, he really did not like them at all!! Kruger is not like that with people, he has never been like that!
