Hi,
Yes i am very proud of him, he's a lovely guy.
Rottweilers are often seen as Monsters and I'm constantly avoided by other dog owners when i walk him. Quite a lot of people actually pic their dogs up and walk past, even if im 50yds away. He's always on his lead and im a 6ft 2 athletic guy. He's going nowhere i dont want him to.
One woman picked her dog up when about 20 yds away, I told her there was no need to do that and she replied "oh, its not your dog, she's just tired thats all". i just shook my head. Crazy

Yes I know the feeling - I used to have a German Shepherd dog and people did the same thing with him. We used to see people coming towards us on the field then all of a sudden they would change there minds and walk the other way and all he wanted to do was bounce about like a looney with their dogs and play chase I have a small dog now and never pick him up when he sees another dog no matter what the breed. He usually susses out for himself whether they are friendly or not by running up but stopping a few yards away and reading the dogs body language and if he doesn't get a friendly response he comes back to me

Hi,
His name's Diesel.
Not my choice though i like it. He was named by the breeders and we decided not to change it.
