what we woke up to this morning!!loads of snow with pics

well we woke up to loads of snow this morning
the schools are closed and it is freezing
heres some pics we just took

looks just like here ,freezing is,nt it ?mind you the dogs all have nice clean feet

yes SB it is bitter here
i,ve never seen my kids so excited to go to school
but 15 minutes later they were both back with sad faces cos the schools have closed
but they are happy they can play in the garden now

no snow here, and like inca, I have my windows open this morning. Sunny bright day, with a frost...but NO snow

We have missed it as well, although the east coast has had loads. We had a few flakes yesterday, nothing much. Bitter cold though, but lots of sunshine, walking the dogs is great, the field is solid so no muddy feet and legs

We've had a little smattering but now its sunny and bright again ..the pics look lovely Jackie ...........I want snow !!

Wow Jackie looks a bit white round your way I don't like the look of that cos North Wales isn't too far away from me is it We just got a little bit but its melting now thank goodness. I wonder why the schools close when it snows cos when we was little I don't remember the schools ever closing because of snow (or teacher training days either ) and we used to get some really bad winters where I live the snow used to be a couple of feet deep.
