university books

Has anyone recently done an english degree and used the norton anthology of english literature (7th edition), that they wnat to sell!i have one from 10 years ago that i was gonna give lucy but its out of date now.She needs 2 and theyre £35 each!!any help would be much appreciated!!

Sorry can't help, but I know how you feel, so far we've bought 4 books for Abi who is at college at £28 each each, hopefully they won't be out of date by the time our next daughter starts college in 2007!

I have the sixth edition which i would happily sell you if that would be any good, but the problem is the postage. They're huge books so it would probably cost a lot to send them. Its up to you though

Im assuming its Lucy that needs them? Has she tried looking on the noticeboards at uni? A lot of people will sell their last years books to buy the new ones!

OH HUSH!

There are 10 volumes of that horrible book. I'm in my 3rd year of english and media degree - and it doesn't get any easier.
Norton is evil - and if i meet him he's a dead man! :P
I NEVER bought the books though - ALWAYS get them out of hte library is my advice!

I know how tedious they are , i did my english degree 10 years ago and have some of them but not these new ones!!thanks anyway!!

Do the Uni sell old books? Or Book shops new the Uni? Worth a try

yeah sweep she needs volumes 1 and 2 of the 7th edition!!so its gonna cost us a mint!!lol.jessica ta for the offer but she needs vol 7!!
