Daily thread June 20th 2022

Morning all
I actually managed about 4 hours sleep! Yay me.
Supposed to be out this afternoon but not sure if I will go yet.
Was dead chuffed yesterday, the robin who has been coming to the garden since spring fetched it's babies over, was so cute watching it sat on the back of the garden furniture demanding food lol

Good afternoon all

Busy this morning cutting about two foot off the top of a bush that grows against the house by the lounge window. It will now make it easier to keep trimmed. Lunch cooked and now having a coffee before heading out on the school run

Hope all are well Take care.

Good evening all.

Pretty cool today.

Dave had his MOT for his COPD. A nurse new to the job. He told her he's excessively tired most of the time and having some problems with forgetting things and she said, and I quote "well, it is a progressive disease so you have to expect it". I know more than this little moron. Anyway, it's done so I'm back to trying to persuade him to get a doctor's appointment which he won't do

Chris tell Dave to get that drs appointment! My dad is 67, I mentioned his memory years ago and he dismissed it, he has realised himself things aren't right.....he saw a nurse practitioner, she sent him for same day blood tests and saw him the next day and he has a referral to a clinic at the hospital for memory.... his cognitive something is slightly lower than expected......my dad is a pain in the ass to get to go to the Dr, I vote he goes and hopefully they say it's a worry about nothing

I've been telling him to get a doctor's appointment for the last 6 months. Will he listen? Will he hecksalike. He really is a pain in the backside.

When his gall bladder blew, I had to literally drag him to the urgent care centre. He almost lost his life. The surgeon told him 5 minutes later and he would have done. Still, I can't get him to see a doctor. Go figure
