Happy Hello's From a Dog Lover

Hey there! A little intro... I am a happy owner of 4 dogs. A Great Dane, Boxer, Golden Retriever and Rhodesian Ridgeback. Their personalities are as different as their breeds. They all get along great enjoying playing with one another and snuggling. I live on 3.5 acres so we get out to play ball often. My Golden and Ridgeback are great at retrieving where as my Boxer loves to chase their balls and my Dane just enjoys watching occasionally chasing the others when they tear off, lol. There is nothing I wouldn't do for them as they are like our children. Our Ridgeback just recently had back surgery for a chronic ruptured disc and is recovering slowly with some issues. It is hard to keep him down since he is so energetic. He doesn't understand why he is crated often and the others get free run, lol.

As for me, I live in MD right along the PA line in the country. I am semi-retired so I get to spend a lot of time with them. I put a Leer topper on my truck so they could all ride along when I go places, they love it. I rigged my air conditioning/heat so it gets into the cab for those summer and winter days. I simply removed the vent covers off my two middle vents and attached a shop vac hose that runs to the cab sliding window. I cut 2 three inch holes in the cab window for the hose and it is a perfect fit. Being in the country, I carry two keys so I can leave the truck running during errands with the doors locked for their temp comfort, lol. I enjoy it and so do they!

I have been looking for a good resource for questions and answers and looked around this site liking it very much so I joined. I look forward to reading and contributing to posts and asking my own.
