Bleugh...

"C'mon c'mon c'MON!!"

Uh...it's 5am, and more importantly it is raining heavily.

"Wha's a wain?"

Water, falling from the sky. You won't like it.

"Seren-the-Puppydog LOVES wain! c'MON!"* Applies paw, with some force, to my nose.*

Oh, let me have a coffee first at least?

"Hu'y up! I wanna go play ou'side!"

But...it is RAINING!

"Yeahyeah" *Licks paw in a dismissive manner*

So...scroll forward post 2 cups of coffee and head out of window... still raining...

"C'mon cmon my PIPPLE are waitin' t'see me!"

Seren apparently has pipple now. Oddly this is pretty much true...

So...I grab the harness and we play *put the harness over the head of the nodding dog*...always hilarious, but especially so when you're in a hurry...

AND we head for the stairs.

"Quick! My pipple need me!"

Oy vey...

Down the stairs, and Seren has a quick sniff at the many rubbish bags people leave in the foyer, presumably mistaking being lazy for modern art

Opens door to street, wanders out...comes to sudden stop when extending lead extends to limit...

Turn, to see Seren sat very severely at the door frame.

Whassup Puppydog?

"I don' wanna cause a fuss, 'cos you're a good pipple, Aggy. Dunno if you may have noticed. I done a 'splorin', an' I see that THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING! *breathe* THE SKY IS FALLING! THE SKY IS FALLING!"

That is the rain! Did you not say that 'Seren the puppy dog loves wai...er...rain?'

"Oh, no...Seren-the-puppy-dog likes the OTHER kind of wain. The one that isn't cold and wet" *Heads back to the lift.

And that, folk, is how I failed to get a 90 minute lie-in this morning...
