Leather, Nylon or "Other"

What do you prefer for collars?

That thing ^ ^ ^ ^ has well and truly outgrown his puppy collar so I'm wanting something nice and sturdy to hold his tags while we are out and about adventuring... preferably with a matching lead lol

Do you have a preference? Why?

I've picked out a few but I am terribly indecisive so if anyone wants to help just say and I'll post the options

I don#t like Nylon

My preference is Leather, either plain and well designed or leather on the inside and fabric/ribbon outside.

I think your cutie would look dashing with something colourful

Well... green in his colour, in case you can't guess from these haha!

Now... I really like that last one (and it comes in pink and blue for Ripley and Rory! BUT it doesn't say the neck size it fits on any of the websites

I've had one leather collar. Brownie didn't mind it but Jade hated it immensely as her neck rolls and it's stiffness didn't go well together.

Nylon collars get dirty easily and tend to fray etc. but I find my dogs like them better. Nigredo hates them all and sometimes scratches trying to get his off, so I take it off.

Jade doesn't wear tags but has to be leashed each time she goes out (reason she doesn't wear tags) so I leave a light nylon collars on her all the time.

Rosie has a leather one, I really like them, more than nylon. I like the two tone ones you've got or the 3rd one down green one.
Love that pic of Frodo

I love leather collars, especially the one's that have the soft type on the inside. I also like the strong flexible rubber ones for when they go swimming.

Nylon coolers go in the washing machine when dirty, that is all the care they need. Leather needs cleaning and feeding or th dry out, crack and can break, usually at the wrong time. Nylon collars come in lovely colours and patters, Cyril has 'making mischief' on his.
