L2 hga (L-2-Hydroxyglutaric aciduria) Will pups from clear lines cost more?

i am very saddened by this relatively new disease in such a wonderful breed as the stafford.
a question though do you think it will increse the price of pups from clear parents

In my experience of other breeds, the cost of the pups does not relate to how "reputable" a breeder is; commercial breeders which do no tests often ask more than small, reputable breeders..... I'm not sure if this is similar for Staffies or not?

I think the problem is not going to be the cost of puppies but the number of people who breed and don't test..some of whom no doubt will not even be aware of the illness I just hope vets pass on the info to people when they have puppies vaccinated ..

It is sad been looking at the list of affected and those of which are Carriers ..HERE..

Of coarse that just of those that went public about it, i feel for those who are affected and respect their owners for making it public.

I too am taking the test (not me personally ) in a couple of weeks. I would like to know if my two are affected or not.

My two have been tested and I will be making public their results whichever way they go. Carrier or clear. It seems the only way to go to me at least.
