Female Dog names

Hi

I was wondering if anyone could help me please. I'm having a black GSD bitch in a few weeks time and can't think of a suitable name. I had loads of idea's for male names but all I've come up with for her are Phoebe or Bebe, which no one likes.

I will be doing Schutzhund with her so don't want anything too fluffy!

Thanks any help will be appreciated

I wouldn't worry what other people like or don't like, if it's your dog and you like the name that is all that matters. My friend has a Bebe btw.

Welcome along

I just got a HV bitch and called her Rua. It's Irish for red which is apt.

Here are a few of the other names I was considering

Issa
Sasha
Vada
Indy
Callie
Freya
Jaz
Mena
Sada

Hi Welcome to dogsey, they usually get a name from the breeders registered name,My Afghan for instance was nameed for the Knights of the Round Table and was Modred,so we called him Red,but in the instance of my female Belgian Terv her name was Aphrodite, and wouldnt feel comfortable about shouting that name when doing recall,so as we bought her near Xmas she became Holly, but I think on the net there is a list of the 10 favourite names re dogs.crystalgirl
