The Clyde Walkway

The Clyde Walkway is a really long route (I think it is something like 40 miles long) and the middle of it is near my house. Me and OH like to walk part of it, but on Saturday we decided to drive to a different part that we have never been to before It was lovely! OH has been told that we will be going back

Although, as we were getting ready to start off... OH was standing with Arrows lead around his wrist, and was texting on his mobile... I think Arrow saw something in the trees because he was watching them, and kept barking at them, and then suddenly pulled towards them, the mobile went flying, and the screen shattered The phone itself is working, but its a touchscreen so the broken bits won't work... he has one wee corner where the touchscreen works...

Off we go...

Jake listening to the bagpipes, and Arrow getting ready to pounce

'Where did Jake go?'

'Found him!'

OH kept stopping to check if his mobile screen had miraculously fixed itself

I felt soooooo bad!! That's what happens when you have blooming dogs!

Living up to the name of bog dog

This is the best pic I have of them together... although, Arrow looks a bit dopey

Arrow watching Jake from the bridge

We found a rope swing, and OH was desperate to have a shot Here he is trying to get it with a stick...

Trying to decide if it will hold his weight... he decided it couldn't, so he wants to go back with a change of clothes, and give it a go

Heading back to the car...

It was a wonderful walk

That looks beautiful, where abouts did you start the walk from? I live about 10 miles from Glasgow and am always looking for new walks

We started it just before Lanark, I don't know how well you know the Clydeside, but it was just before the Popinjay that we started. We usually start at Strathclyde Park

I think it starts somewhere near the Kelvingrove Park, and then ends up at Crossford. I would love to walk the whole way, but that would probably take about 13 hours

Can't believe how much Arrow has grown, he doesn't look like a puppy now He looks all grown up and not a bundle of fluff Looks a great place to walk, shame it's way too far away for us!
