Home cooking

Hi everyone new to this I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on home cooking for your dogs? I have started with mince ans veggies, I would imagine this would be better than dog food? Your thoughts

I tried this for a while until I ran out of ideas and I got worried that my dog wasn't getting the proper vits and minerals. A tub of SF-50 sorted that problem and I still give her that now sometimes, even though I'm back on kibble for her.

There are some great websites out there with some good recipe ideas. I'm sure it's much better than kibble, if you have the time and the inclination, you dog will love you for it

It's such a balancing act though to get everything right. My vet advised me to sprinkle a teaspoonful of OATbran to give her some fibre when I was doing the home cooking which might be worth a try, but don't overdo it, or you'll regret what comes out the other end. I think it's a ratio of 25% meat from what I can remember? Don't quote me on that though.
